CMAA Groups Information Session
All event times are in Eastern Time.
In this one-hour session, members of our leadership team will give you the inside scoop on CMAA Groups!
This is a great new opportunity for CMAA members to further the mission of Sacred Music in their local areas.
You will learn how to start your own CMAA group in your town with friends and colleagues.
Why?
The presence of Christ is most fully revealed in the sacred liturgy when it is celebrated with sacred music the Church sees as its own, with each person worshipping God and each musician rendering their greatest musical capacity.
How?
We invite the clergy and the faithful to discover the Church’s treasury of sacred music—Gregorian chant, sacred polyphony, organ music, and worthy new compositions. We equip them through education, and we build friendships and collegiality that enable musicians to flourish through a life of service in the Church.
What?
We are the longest standing sacred music society in the United States, established to teach and implement the Catholic Church’s treasury of sacred music in the context of the sacred liturgy.
