Text
Antiphon: A solis ortu usque ad occasum, laudabile nomen Domini.
Verses: Laudate, pueri, Dominum: laudate nomen Domini.
(Psalm 113, v. 3 antiphon, v. 1-2, 4-6 verses. Offertory for Mass VIII of Ordinary Time, as designated in the Graduale Simplex)
From the rising of the sun ever to its setting, give joyful praise to the name of God.
Praise, O servants of the Lord: praise the name of the Lord. Blessed be the name of the Lord: from this time forth and forevermore! The Lord is high above all nations: and his glory above the heavens! Who is like the Lord our God, who is seated on high: who looks far down upon the heavens and the earth?

Benedicite Domino. (Cento from Psalm 145:15-16; 1 Chronicles 16:36; Psalm 13:6; Psalm 103:1-3)
Bless the Lord. The eyes of all hope in you, O Lord, and you give them their food in due time; you open your hand, and fill every living thing with blessings. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, from eternity to eternity, and let all the people say Amen and sing a hymn to God. I will sing to the Lord who has showed goodness to me, and sing to the name of the Lord Most High. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget his gifts; who forgives all your sins and heals all your wounds.

Text
(Psalm 20:1-4)
May the Lord hear you in the day of trouble: may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. May he send you help from the holy place: and defend you from Zion. May he remember all your sacrifices: and may your sacrifices be fat. May he give you your heart’s desire: and confirm all your counsels.
